i chose the topic of.... SEXUAL WELLNESS!

GOAL

COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPE

Competitive Landscape reflects apps that are currently on the market for sexual improvement, and inspired the development of tremble in the following ways:

Juicebox aims to promote sex education, by having "sexperts" answer anonymous questions posted on the public feed. 

Cosmopolitan provides a new daily position, in a playful and informative manner. 

iKamasutra provides various activities to complete, and allows user to track progress. 

When I decided to make an app for sexual wellness, I wanted to develop an app that would facilitate communication between partners in a relationship. My hypothesis was that emotional well being would encourage a better sex life.

During the survey and interview phases, I encountered trends that I did not expect. People felt comfortable communicating with their partners, and wanted to spice things up in the bedroom.

What would be the next steps? How do I incorporate these user insights with my initial goal of encouraging therapy and communication?

In order to gain early feedback, a preliminary user flow and mid-fidelity prototype was made, and tested by miscellaneous users.

based on feedback, the user flow was adjusted to improve the user experience.

"Sex on Miami Beach" was my inspirational theme for the color palette. The predominant color is a peachy nude, reminiscent of sand and art deco colors. Bright splashes of fuchsia and aqua accentuate details, inspired by the tropical tones Miami Beach is famous for.
